That’s how many raised beds we have at Kezar Gardens Ecology Center.  Each of those beds represents 1-5 individual gardeners.  Last weekend at our monthly garden workday, we spent some time getting things in order and painting official numbers on those garden beds to create a sense of cohesion among the community.  Now, we can connect more efficiently with one another about our garden beds and their needs.  This will make it easier to help out of town folks get watering done and to turn over unused beds to active gardeners.

This numbering extravaganza also provided an opportunity to take in the mesmerizing colors emerging all over the garden beds.  Flowers are blooming, bees are pollinating, and veggies are coming to maturity at a rapid pace.  Below is a sampling of the colors and new numbers to be found at Kezar.

Stop by and smell something.
